Someone asked me …. “Could you be wrong in your claims about Judgment Day and hell?”

The existence of hell and the surety of the judgment are not the claims of fallible man. The Bible is the source of the claim, and it is utterly infallible. When someone becomes a Christian, he is admitting that he was in the wrong, and that God is justified in His declarations that we have sinned against Him. However, let’s surmise for a moment that there is no Judgment Day and no hell. That would mean that the Bible is a huge hoax, in which more than forty authors collaborated (over a period of 1,500 years) to produce a document revealing God’s character as “just.” They portrayed Him as a righteous judge, who warned that He would eventually punish murderers, rapists, liars, thieves, adulterers, etc. Each of those writers (who professed to be godly) therefore bore false witness, transgressing the very Commandments they claimed were true. It would mean that Jesus Christ was a liar, and that all the claims He made about the reality of judgment were therefore false. It would also mean that He gave His life in vain, as did multitudes of martyrs who have given their lives for the cause of Christ. In addition, if there is no ultimate justice, then the Creator of all things is unjust—He sees murder and rape and couldn’t care less, making Him worse than a corrupt human judge who refuses to bring criminals to justice.

Here’s the good news, though, if there is no hell: You won’t know a thing after you die. It will be the end. No heaven, no hell. Just nothing. You won’t even realize that it’s good news.

Here’s the bad news if the Bible is right and there is eternal justice: You will find yourself standing before the judgment throne of a holy God. Think of it. A holy and perfect Creator has seen your thought-life and every secret sin you have ever committed. You have a multitude of sins, and God must by nature carry out justice. Ask Him to remind you of the sins of your youth. Ask Him to bring to remembrance your secret sexual sins, the lies, the gossip, and other idle words. You may have forgotten your past sins, but God hasn’t;  Hell will be your just dessert (exactly what you deserve), and you will have no one to blame but yourself. This is the claim of the Bible. If you don’t believe it, it is still true. It will still happen.

Yet, there is good news—incredibly good news. We deserve judgment, but God offers us mercy through the cross. He paid our fine so that we could leave the courtroom. He destroyed the power of the grave for all who obey Him. Simply obey the gospel, and live. By doing that you will find out for yourself that the gospel is indeed the “gospel truth.” Jesus said that if you obey Him, you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free (see John 8:31,32). Get on your knees today, confess and forsake (turn from) your sins. Tell God you are truly sorry, then trust the Savior as you would trust yourself to a parachute. Then you will find yourself in a terrible dilemma. You will know for certain that hell is a reality. When you get up the courage to warn people you care about, they will smile passively and say, “Could you be wrong in your claims about Judgment Day and the existence of hell?” Some who are enjoying the pleasures of sin for a season will brush off thoughts of God’s eternal justice by joking, “I don’t mind going to hell. All my friends will be there.” Obviously, those who flippantly say such things don’t believe in the biblical concept of hell. They are like a slow-witted criminal who thinks that the electric chair is a place to put up his feet for a while and relax. Their understanding of the nature of God is erroneous, so it may be wise to speak for a few moments about the reasonableness of hell. Explain that the Bible tells us that God will punish murderers and rapists, and the place of punishment—the “prison” God will send them to—is a place called “hell.” However, God is so good, He will also punish thieves, liars, adulterers, fornicators, and blasphemers. He will even punish those who desired to murder and rape but never took the opportunity. He warns that if we hate someone, we commit murder in our hearts. If we lust, we commit adultery in the heart, etc. All are sins that will send us to hell.

C. S. Lewis summed up all the terrors of hell when he said, “There is no doctrine which I would more willingly remove from Christianity than the doctrine of hell, if it lay in my power. But it has the full support of Scripture and, especially, of our Lord’s own words; it has always been held by the Christian Church, and it has the support of reason.”

Take the time to tell people of the reality of hell and its biblical description. Some sinners like to picture hell as a fun, hedonistic, pleasure-filled place where they can engage in all the sensual sins that are forbidden here. Others accept that hell is a place of punishment, but believe that the punishment is to be annihilated—to cease conscious existence. Because they can’t conceive that a loving God would punish people in eternal torment, they believe hell is just a metaphor for the grave. If they are correct, then a man like Adolph Hitler, who was responsible for the death of millions, is being “punished” merely with eternal sleep. His fate is simply to return to the non-existent state he was in before he was born, where he doesn’t even know that he is being punished.

While it is true that God is love (1 John 4:8), He is also just (Nehemiah 9:32,33; 2 Thessalonians 1:6) and eternal (Psalm 90:2; 1 Timothy 1:17). God will therefore punish the evil doer (Isaiah 13:11) and this punishment will be eternal. It will also be conscious. Scripture tells us of the rich man who found himself in hell (Luke 16:19–31). He was conscious and was able to feel pain, to thirst, and to experience remorse. He wasn’t asleep in the grave; he was in a place of “torment.”

We tend to forget what pain is like when we don’t have it. Can you imagine how terrible it would be to be in agony, with no hope of relief? Many human beings go insane if they are merely isolated for a long time from other people. Imagine how terrible it would be if God simply withdrew all the things we hold so dear—friendship, love, color, light, peace, joy, laughter. Hell isn’t just a place with an absence of God’s blessings; it is punishment for sin. It is literal torment, forever. That’s why the Bible warns that it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. The fate of the unsaved is described with such fearful words as the following:

“Shame and everlasting contempt” (Daniel 12:2)

“Everlasting punishment” (Matthew 25:46)

“Weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 24:51)

“Fire unquenchable” (Luke 3:17)

“Indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish” (Romans 2:8,9)

“Everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord” (2 Thessalonians 1:9)

“Eternal fire… the blackness of darkness for ever” (Jude 7,13)

Revelation 14:10,11 tells us the final, eternal destiny of the sinner: “He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone… the smoke of their torment ascended up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day or night.”

Scripture is quite clear: hell is a real place. It is not mere unconsciousness. It is not temporal. It is eternal torment. If hell is a place of knowing nothing or a reference to the grave into which we go at death, Jesus’ statements about hell make no sense. He said that if your hand, foot, or eye causes you to sin, it would be better to remove it than to “go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: where their worm dies not, and the fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:43–48). Jesus spoke more of hell than of heaven and spent much time warning people not to go there. After all, if people just stopped existing, why warn them? If hell were temporal, they’d get out in a while. But because it is eternal and conscious, we must do everything we can to warn them.

However, a sinner won’t see that hell is his eternal destiny unless he is convinced by the Law that he has sinned against God. He may consider hell a fit place for others, but not for himself. That’s why we must not hesitate to open up the Law and show that each individual is personally responsible for his sin, and that God’s wrath abides on him because of it.

Hell is a very real place and you can’t call yourself a Christian and not believe in it.  That would be like standing in the middle of an interstate and saying you don’t believe in traffic.  If you claim to be a Christian and say “My God would NEVER send anyone to hell HE is a God of Love” …..

hang on this may sting a bit,

YOUR RIGHT, YOUR god WON’T SEND YOU TO HELL, HE CAN’T … BECAUSE

HE DOESN’T EXIST!

You have created a god to suit yourself, one your more comfortable with; One that you think will overlook your sin, and that my friend is the oldest sin in the book -

IDOLATRY!

If we turn to the Bible, it clearly states –   Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God (1 Cor. 6:9-10)

So in closing, I pray in the matchless name of Christ that this be a reminder of what is to come if you were to die in your sins.  Please for those who haven’t given everything to God …. please think about this and get right as soon as possible.

trinity2

Please understand — for those of you that remotely consider the book “The Shack” even readable — ThIs IS fOr YOU!!  and everyone else as well.  The lack of understanding about the trinity breaks my heart … I am embarrassed to be a part of the Christian Church today as I believe it is an embarrassment to a Holy God.  Take a look for a brief moment before reading this article, Google – the trinity – and watch what comes up…you will not believe the nonsense that you see…

So in saying that here’s Today’s thoughts on – The Trinity

The Trinity—the triune nature of God—is a basic doctrine of Christianity. Although the word “Trinity” is not found in the Bible, the elements of this doctrine are all taken directly from God’s Word. The doctrine of the Trinity states that there is one God who exists eternally as three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Bible could not be more explicit that there is only one God, which it declares about two dozen times. In Isaiah 45:5 God says, “I am the LORD, and there is no other; besides me there is no God.” In Mark 12:29 Jesus states, “The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The LORD our God is one Lord . . .’”

Jesus referred to God as His Father, and the apostles frequently spoke of “God the Father.” But the New Testament also insists that Jesus is God. For example, Thomas acknowledged Jesus as “my Lord and my God” (John 20:28), and both Peter and Paul spoke of Jesus as “our God and Savior” (2 Peter 1:1; Titus 2:13). Yet the New Testament also makes the distinction between the Father and the Son as two very different persons. In fact, they tell us that they love one another, speak to each other, and seek to glorify each other (e.g., John 17:1–26).

The Old Testament refers often to the Holy Spirit as God at work in the world, without distinction from the Father. But Jesus in John 14:16 explained that the Father at Christ’s request would send this Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit would teach and guide the disciples, not speaking on His own initiative, but speaking on Christ’s behalf and glorifying Christ. Thus, the Holy Spirit is revealed by Christ to be a third person distinct from the Father and from the Son.

The three persons of the Trinity—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—are distinct persons, yet they are all the one God. They are in absolute perfect harmony consisting of one substance. They are coeternal, coequal, and co-powerful  If any one of the three were removed, there would be no God.

There is, though, an apparent separation of some functions among the members of the Godhead. For example, the Father chooses those in Christ to be saved (Ephesians 1:4); the Son redeems them (Ephesians 1:7); and the Holy Spirit seals them (Ephesians 1:13).

A further point of clarification is that God is not one person, the Father, with Jesus as a created being and the Holy Spirit as a force (Jeho-vah’s Witnesses). Neither is He one person who took three consecutive forms, i.e., the Father became the Son, who became the Holy Spirit. Nor is God the divine nature of the Son, where Jesus had a human nature perceived as the Son and a divine nature perceived as the Father (United Pentecostal). Nor is the Trinity an office held by three separate Gods (Mormonism).

It has been interestingly said, “If you try to figure out the Trinity, you will lose your mind; if you deny the Trinity, you will lose your soul.” In short, the doctrine of the Trinity is completely biblical, and it is essential that all Christians give assent to this doctrine.

The Trinity at Work in Redemption
In every major phase of the redemption, each person of the Godhead is directly involved. Their involvement in each successive phase can be seen in the following:

1.Incarnation. The Father incarnated the Son in the womb of Mary by the Holy Spirit (see Luke 1:35).

2.Baptism in the Jordan River. The Spirit descended on the Son, and the Father spoke His approval from heaven (see Matthew 3:14–17).

3.Public ministry. The Father anointed the Son with the Spirit (see Acts 10:38).

4.The crucifixion. Jesus offered Himself to the Father through the Spirit (see Hebrews 9:14).

5.The resurrection. The Father resurrected the Son by the Spirit (see Acts 2:32; Romans 1:4).

6.Pentecost. From the Father the Son received the Spirit, whom He then poured out on His disciples (see Acts 2:33).

The following chart should help you to see how the doctrine of the Trinity is derived from Scripture. The list is only illustrative, not exhaustive.

Father Son Holy Spirit

Additional Descriptions Applied to All Three in the Trinity

1) Who gives us words to speak?
Father—Matthew 10:19,20: “But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what you shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what you shall speak. For it is not you that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaks in you.”

Holy Spirit—Mark 13:11: “But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what you shall speak, neither premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak: for it is not you that speak, but the Holy Spirit.”

2) Who gave the New Covenant?
Father—Jeremiah 31:33,34: “But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; after those days, says the LORD,I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

Holy Spirit—Hebrews 10:15–17: “Whereof the Holy Spirit also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, said the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.”

Son—Hebrews 12:24: “And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant…”

passionofthechrist

I have wept for 2 days now for both of you….and now I would like to say –  To the MOM – I pray you get right with our Holy God as soon as possible and to your SON – Young man, I attest that you are in err and I pray you find who JESUS IS.  I pray that God have mercy on both your souls.

To my readers – This is what happened

I was doing an outreach in Wesley Chapel, Florida this weekend at Wire Grass Mall, I was blessed with a beautiful day and thousands of people to witness to.  Now that the radio station is up and running we even had the opportunity to do a live spot out there!!  But during a break I walked over to Barnes & Noble, went upstairs still wearing the body mic for the station… I was approached by a young boy and his mother and this is what transpired:

Young man – “Can you help me find Labron James’ book”

Me – “Well I’d probably be much better help if I worked here but I can help”

Mother – “Oh, we’re sorry”

Me – “NO PROBLEM…let me help”

Now, I just acted as if I didn’t know who Labron James was – I thought I could use it as an opening to present the Gospel… but tragically that wouldn’t be the case:

Me to the young boy – “Who is Labron James?”

He looked at me with disdain in his eyes… matter of fact I really thought he was gonna punch me…

Young Man – ” um duh.. HE is the greatest man ever to live”

I hope you readers know what came out of my mouth next!!

Me – ” hmm, well what about JESUS”

What he said next literally brought me to my knees with a feeling of such heartache that I began to cry

The young man looked me dead in the eyes and said – “Jesus is dead”

Now folks, what that child said to me disturbed me so much I almost left the outreach.  I went home and wept most of the night and didn’t get any sleep.  IF you could make the situation worse… the mother just stood there with a smile on her face…

I’m sorry folks, but what the holy heck  is wrong with this picture!!!!

THIS IS WHY IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO SHARE THE GOSPEL WITH EVERY LIVING CREATURE ….

To that family.. JESUS IS ALIVE!!

God in Schools (2)

Amid national soul searching in the wake of one of the worst mass shootings in American history, faith leaders, say the removal of God from the nation’s schools and communities is at the root of this monstrous tragedy.

I BELIEVE THIS WITH ALL MY HEART!  People have asked – How could God allow this to happen in a school? – but, WE are the ones that KICKED GOD OUT!!  How can we be ashamed of HIM because we don’t want to talk about SIN – but, curse HIM when something tragic happens and then and only then WE WANT HIM CLOSE….  We look for every other excuse known to “man” for reasons why this happened – FOLKS, IT WASN’T A CHEMICAL IMBALANCE – IT WAS Adam’s sinful nature – PERIOD

To be very honest, my heart is sick of the media’s attempt to make excuses for Adam Lanza’s mass murder of school children at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.  In the face of all the “politically correct mumbo jumbo,”  the culprit is “not an imbalance of chemical enzymes in Lanza’s brain; the culprit is Lanza’s sin nature.”

For years, public schools have been teaching children that evil does not reside in their souls and is therefore, by default, circumstantial, and according to this misguided worldview, there must have been something circumstantially that caused Lanza to shoot innocent children.  So when we look at the tragedy that just took place and we start blaming …we search EVERY conceivable avenue according to “our” FINITE mind, we immediately go to guns and other purported causes, we say:

It’s his psychology, it’s his mother, it’s the divorce. It’s something outside, instead of looking at the real cause, which for thousands of years since the time of Christ, people have understood to be good and evil.”  If Lanza’s mass murder of innocents is given a pass, what about the thousands of Nazis who killed six million Jews? Did all of them have autism too? Or is the Holocaust not prima facie evidence of the very existence of evil?”

WE always looks for excuses “outside ourselves”, but we never want to face the demons in our own souls.  WHY??  well that’s a whole nother blog.. we’ll leave that one alone minus this one comment “WE ARE BEING FED THE WRONG MESSAGE ….WE KNOW GOD LOVES US… WE NEED TO BE REMINDED THAT HE IS A JUST AND HOLY GOD AND WILL PUNISH LIARS, FORNICATORS, THIEVES, THE SEXUALLY IMMORAL (HOMOSEXUALS are included) COVETERS (one’s that desire other’s belongings because they are NOT satisfied with what God has given them) BLASPHEMERS (including ones that lift HIS HOLY name up to nothingness – ex. – OMG in a text message) and any other broken commandment.

A number of faith leaders in the past week have weighed in on the spiritual dimensions of what may have motivated Lanza, 20, to kill his mother, 20 children and six adults at the school before killing himself.

As police seek a motive, the London Daily Mail reported Dec. 19 that a former classmate claimed Lanza “ worshiped the devil and had an online page dedicated to Satan.”…..UH>>> HELLO>>> why does this NOT speak volumes in answering ANY QUESTIONS OF WHY??

The demons of violence and lawlessness are on the loose all across America – in Newton, Conn., …in Aurora, Colo., … in Oak Creek, Wis., … just as they were in Littleton, Colo., and at Virginia Tech in years gone by.   But why? How is it possible that violent crime in the United States has surged by more than 400 percent since 1960?

The answer is as painful as it is simple:

The further we turn away from God in our nation – the further we drive Him out of our society, out of our schools and courts, and out of our media and out of our homes, or the more we give mere lip service to religion, the more men are ‘holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power’ (2 Timothy 3:5) – the worse things are getting.

Should we be so surprised that schools would become a place of carnage?  We don’t have a crime problem, a gun problem or even a violence problem. What we have is a sin problem. And since we’ve ordered God out of our schools, and communities, the military and public conversations, you know we really shouldn’t act so surprised … when all hell breaks loose.” - HELL, WE’VE INVITED IT IN … SAYING COME ON!!

Here’s the facts, schools no longer teach the Ten Commandments, and the U.S. Supreme Court ruled school prayer was unconstitutional in 1962. As long as the nation continues to “marginalize God” in its public life, the country can expect more and more of these types of tragedies.

The solution is not to create more laws restricting guns, If you restrict guns, people will use knives. If you restrict knives, people will use explosives. Those are only tools that people use, and those are not the problem. It’s the root cause we need to get to, and that’s the brokenness of humanity. The only way evil can be restrained is by God and the teaching of GOSPEL TRUTH!!

I do believe that right now what America desperately needs is what we used to call an old-fashioned revival.  There will have to be a reawakening to biblical norms and biblical values. When President Obama prayed last week on behalf of the victims in Newton, Conn., and invoked God’s name, he appealed to God, but this is the same person whose party tried to eliminate God from its political platform!!  YOU CAN’T HAVE YOUR CAKE AND EAT IT TOO!!

We have now a God of convenience. When we want God to bless us or want to acknowledge God in some way to encourage people, we’ll invoke his name until the cows come home…BUT God is not a puppet. He’s to be feared and adhered to and his laws, which are irrefutable, must be obeyed, WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!

We are going to start with this:

You-Are-What-You-Think1

“You don’t have to be perfect to share the love of Christ with someone. But you do have to be pursuing a right relationship with God. If you are not, your witnessing will be ineffective.”   – SCOTT HINKLE

I have a question… How many of us are willing to lose the biggest giver in our church rather than preach a diluted Gospel? That’s the dilemma… Jonathan, in my humble opinion, when we so focus on decisions for Christ and chasing “Potential Members” we are actually taking away from the body of Christ…. my church will NEVER be about “MEMBERS” or “NUMBERSHIP” or “Decisions”…. it’s about bringing the lost and unregenerate to the foot of the cross IN HOPES, Christ will grant them repentance for sin… So our obligation as a Warrior for God is to preach the GOSPEL TRUTH and not to run after sinners who continually reject Christ — after all… what did Jesus do when the rich man walked away in sadness after learning what he needed to do to walk with Christ….. Did Jesus run after him and say…..”ooh wait… come on come back let Me invite you to a lamb barbecue, so we can develop a non-confrontation relationship ….no HE didn’t.. HE allowed him to choose HE didn’t chase after HIM….

I HOPE YOU FOLKS REALIZE THAT JUST BECAUSE YOU CLICK THE “I LIKE CHRISTIANITY” BUTTON ON YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE, IT  DOESN’T MAKE YOU A CHRISTIAN

People have said to me many times – “Oh, I’ve been born again many times!”

Let me share something with you, Like Nicodemus, MANY people have no concept of what it means to be born again.  I know I didn’t until IT HAPPENED.  Nicodemus thought Jesus was speaking of a physical rebirth and couldn’t comprehend how that was possible.  It’s the same today, how can we enter back into our mother’s womb?   Today’s so called “Christian” church message tries to convince you that it’s that tingly feeling you experience when you enter a building they erroneously call “God’s House” or “Church.”  Or, maybe you believe that one is born again when one is “christened” or “confirmed.”  However, the new birth spoken of by Jesus is absolutely essential for sinners to enter heaven.  If they are not born again, they will not enter the kingdom of God.  Therefore it is necessary to establish the fact that one becomes a Christian by being born again, pointing out that Jesus Himself said that the experience was crucial.  The difference between  believing in Jesus and being born again is like believing in a parachute, and putting one on.  The difference will be seen when you jump. (Romans 13:14)

You say okay, How is one born again then?  Simply through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 20:21).  Confess and forsake your sins, and trust in Jesus alone for your eternal salvation.  When you do, you will receive spiritual life through the Holy Spirit who comes to live within you.

WARNING:

ONCE YOU DO THIS BE PREPARED FOR THE FIGHT OF YOUR LIFE… BECAUSE THE DEVIL WILL COME AFTER YOU WITH EVERYTHING HE CAN TO STEAL, KILL AND DESTROY YOU.

BUT REMEMBER THIS –  WE ARE NOT ON A PLEASURE CRUISER TO HEAVEN, WE ARE ON A BATTLESHIP STATIONED AT THE VERY GATES OF HELL!

See you on deck!

Has this ever been YOU!  Ever feel like you are so far out in the forest that the only thing out there with you is the enemy?  So tired, so distraught from the things that have gone on during the day, week,  month or longer.  Feel like you just can’t go on any further, that it’s just too hard?   For me, the last several weeks have been the hardest yet in my Christian walk.  I have allowed distractions, disappointment, and fear to clutter my mind and heart.  I haven’t been focused on or done anything in the name of Christ because of that disappointment, hurt and distraction, therefore I have failed as a soldier for Christ.

We have to remember that Satan only goes after the ones that he is scared to death of.  He only attacks the ones he knows can AND WILL shake the very ground he walks on.  If you’re not being buffeted by Satan from EVERY angle than he isn’t afraid of you, that means you are NO threat to him and he knows he has bound you to do his will.

This time has enabled me to see things MUCH clearer through God’s inspiration and I’d like to share it with you – You MUST remember that in order to be on the front lines of battle you WILL be shot at, you WILL be attacked and YOU MAY be wounded.  Today’s Christian always seems to get excited about the battle but when it comes down to putting on the helmet, and stepping on to the battlefield they run for cover cowering TO the enemy NOT FROM him.

Over these past few weeks I have had a lot of things go through my mind, but the thought of being a coward for the sake of Christ – shook me to the core and brought me to my knees – I WILL NEVER AGAIN ALLOW THAT THOUGHT TO ENTER MY MIND .

Will You?

Stand UP for Christ, get out of your comfy pew, put your hands out FOR God instead of just up to God.  One last statement:

IF TODAY’S CHRISTIAN MADE AS MUCH NOISE ABOUT GOD ON MONDAY, AS THEY DO TO GOD ON SUNDAY …..WE WOULD CERTAINLY SEE REVIVAL

Being a man of God means more than putting a Christian fish on your car.  It means more than saying a few prayers in or outside of your local church.  It certainly means  more than saying “I’m a Christian” on your facebook page.  Guys, I want you to know that this isn’t just a claim, IT’S A CHANGE OF LIFE.

Guys, I got news for you – When you take your stand and draw your sword for the army of God against the wiles of this world, the devil is going come after you with everything he’s got.  You MUST STAND with these traits:

  • Righteousness – and not just in a building labeled as “church” but in every step you take.
  • Godliness  - People should see Jesus when they hear you, see you and when they touch you.  REMEMBER – we are called to look more like Him every day.
  • Faithfulness  - Your Faith MUST NEVER WAIVER
  • Love - Love isn’t conditional, it doesn’t leave when things become difficult.  It doesn’t base itself on how others treat you.  IT IS UNCONDITIONAL.  Remember, without LOVE we are NOTHING but clanging symbols.
  • Perseverance - YOU WILL NEVER QUIT, GIVE IN OR TURN IN YOUR SWORD – NO MATTER WHAT THE COST.

Because now – TO LIVE IS FOR CHRIST AND TO DIE IS GAIN!” (Philippians 1:21)

Rise up Men, Rise UP!!  We have been chosen by GOD!
