Okay, is it time for you to heal yet?  I sure hope so.  I don’t know about you but those words above “I AM HEALED” “THANK YOU JESUS” are coming out of my mouth RIGHT THIS VERY MOMENT!  What about you?  Jesus can and WILL heal you but you MUST ALLOW HIM to do HIS WORK in HIS TIME.  HE WILL KEEP HIS PROMISE.   For those who aren’t convinced and you require it in writing, HERE YOU GO:

(Exodus 15:26 NKJV), “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”

(Deuteronomy 32:39 NKJV) ‘Now see that I, even I, am He, And there is no God besides Me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; Nor is there any who can deliver from My hand.’

(Psalms 107:20 NKJV) He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destruction.

(Proverbs 4:20-22 NKJV) My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. {21} Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; {22} For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.

(Isaiah 58:8 NKJV) Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.

Oh and just in case that wasn’t clear enough -

(Isaiah 53:5 NKJV) But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Folks, let today be the day that you shout from the rooftops, mountain tops or wherever you are right now – I AM HEALED, THANK YOU JESUS

The Time for healing is now.  If we study the Book of Ecclesiastes, especially the third chapter we see that there IS a time for everything.  People seem to be stuck on the adage that “Time heals all wounds.”  We have to remember that God created time and while everything will happen in HIS perfect timing, we don’t have to draw things out either.

Christ gave us perfect examples of His healing power:

The woman with internal bleeding – she merely touched the hem of His garment and she was HEALED – IMMEDIATELY

Peter’s Mother-in-Law  -  Jesus walked into that house and saw her lying sick with fever, He touched her and IMMEDIATELY the fever left her and she was healed.

A Girl restored to Life – While speaking to multitudes, Jesus was approached by a ruler and stated “My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live.”  Jesus went into the house and said “Make way for the girl isn’t dead but sleeping.”  He went and took her by the hand and the girl arose – HEALED IMMEDIATELY

Knowing this, we to can be healed IMMEDIATELY from whatever has caused a scar in our lives.  Sometimes God starts the healing process but you delay that process by holding onto the very things you need healing from.  Here’s how not to delay the process – STOP TAKING IT BACK FROM GOD – Once you give it to God and pray for healing – LEAVE IT AT THE CROSS, then depend on HIS TIMING.

One thing that Peter, the woman with internal bleeding, the Girl that was restored and MANY MANY others that experienced the healing powers of Jesus Christ had in common was – FAITH.  They knew beyond a shadow of doubt that when they called on the Matchless name of Jesus Christ, what they asked in faith was DONE – there WOULD be healing.

Let Jesus Heal whatever has caused your need, pain, hurt, suffering in your life – Here’s more – “Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.” (Matt 9:35)

Does anything else need to be said?  Please, isn’t it time to heal, aren’t you tired of being sick and tired?  I know I AM!

Psalm 103:2-5 – “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagles’s.

It’s time to heal – Don’t you think?  For me it is.  From the sexual, mental and emotional abuse I received throughout my life.  I keep going back to those things and focusing on the scars that they have left.  Every time I do, it brings up anger, then depression, then bitterness.  What we don’t realize is that when we fall into bitterness – IT WILL spread to others.  I offer a different point of view on the focus of those scars:

I ask that you NEVER be ashamed, angry or bitter of the scars that life has left you with.  KNOW THIS – A scar means the hurt IS OVER, FINISHED, DONE and the wound is CLOSED.  You endured the pain and GOD has healed you.  Why do we always want to focus on the pains of life – hold on to them like Linus does with his blanket;  thinking that we can’t live without them because we are afraid of what might come next – A Bigger HURT? A more CHALLENGING TRIAL?  Take a look at the memory verse for this weeks study on Healing and let it be time.
