Are the decisions you are making in every day life ones that  bring honor and glory to God?  UGH! let me guess you thought that the only decision you had to make as a Christian was to choose God, right?

Boy do I have some news for you -

The choices and decisions that you make every day testify one way or another to your walk with God.  They will affirm your walk or they will deny, discredit and dishonor, God.  You’re walk didn’t stop at the altar, pew, pool or piece of concrete where you fell to you knees and asked God to save you.  Your walk includes EVERYDAY decisions that you will be accountable for.  Oooo, I said it… the 11 letter Christian curse word for most of today’s Christians.  Yes I said it – it needs to be said, some of today’s Christians want to walk in this world and not be accountable for the choices they make…. I’m sorry but that’s not the way it works… let’s take a look at what the Bible says:

1 Corinthians 10:31 - “Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

Now, let me be very clear…. that doesn’t mean drink to you drop, pass-out then wake up and say you gave God your best effort.  It doesn’t mean go to a club and “get your swag on” wake up in a strangers apartment saying you gave God your best effort.  And it doesn’t mean that you do what you know isn’t right and then give an excuse such as  ”Well, God knows my heart,” or “Nobody’s perfect” and then carry on with your day.

Let’s do this… Imagine I placed a chip inside you that recorded EVERY thing you did for the next seven days.  Every thought, every action, every word and every deed that you will do in the next week.  Then at the end of the week, I invited every person in your life – friends, family, spouse and even the people that came into your path to watch on a 70″ plasma t.v the recording.  Would you be nervous?  worried about the fact you really hate your neighbor, or that your wife would find that you chatted online with someone other than her, or your children would hear the thought “that kid is a pain in the rear”…….How bout this… what if JESUS was invited… what would HE think?

Now are you worried? ashamed? if so, STOP RIGHT NOW… get on your face and ask to be washed in the precious blood of Jesus Christ and then make every decision count, make every decision based on the love you have for Christ —–

HE LOVED YOU ENOUGH TO DIE AN UNSPEAKABLY TORTUROUS DEATH FOR YOU so honor HIM in every choice you make.  That means in EVERY ASPECT of LIFE.
