Sinner's that say "But I confess to God every day"

I would encourage you to take a look at the beginning of Romans 6 as we enter today’s article.

If you find yourself in court with a $50,000 fine, will a judge let you go simply because you say you’re sorry and you won’t commit the crime again?  OF COURSE NOT.  You SHOULD be sorry for breaking the law and, of course you shouldn’t commit the crime again.  But only when your $50,000 fine is paid will you be free from the demands of the law.

God will not forgive a sinner on the basis that he is sorry.  PEOPLE PLEASE HEAR THIS!  Of course we should be sorry for sin–we have a conscience to tell us that adultery, rape, lust, murder, hatred, lying, stealing, etc., are wrong.  And of course we shouldn’t sin again.  However, God will release us from the demands for eternal justice only on the basis that someone else paid our fine.  Two Thousand years ago, Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for the sins of the world.  His words on the cross were, “IT IS FINISHED!” (John 19:30).  In other words, the debt has been paid in full.

HERE IS THE KEY – ALL WHO REPENT AND TRUST IN HIM receive forgiveness of sins.  Their case is dismissed on the basis of His suffering death.  So in saying that, Do you continue in your devious ways once you truly give your heart, mind, body and soul to God????     ABSOLUTELY NOT!!  But please understand that we WILL sin everyday, but the difference is – TRUE followers of Jesus, TRUE Christians will fall, NOT dive into sin.

So follow HIS promise – ‘COME TO ME ALL YOU WHO ARE HEAVY LADEN – I WILL GIVE YOU REST’     —- LET HIM GIVE YOU LIFE, LET HIM REDEEM YOU, LET HIM FILL YOU, LET HIM HEAL YOU, LET HIM STRETCH YOU…. HE WILL LIFT YOU HIGHER THAN ANYTHING THIS WORLD PROMISES…YOU DON’T HAVE TO LIVE IN FEAR ANYMORE, YOU DON’T HAVE TO LIVE CAPTIVE IN YOUR MIND ANYMORE,  YOU DON’T HAVE TO LIVE UNDER THE BANNER OF LOSER OR FAILURE  ANYMORE AND UNDER ALL THE WORDS THAT ANYBODY EVER TOLD YOU OR YOU TOLD YOUR OWN HEART, YOU CAN BE FREE FROM THE POWER OF DEATH RIGHT NOW,  believe me, HE IS REAL, His promises are REAL, EVERY SINGLE ONE…there is NO limitation to what you can be when Christ is alive in you!  Won’t you get in right now?

Folks, Judgment is coming, it as REAL as it gets – even though you can’t see it – even though you can’t reason it, IT IS REAL.  Right now you might not be able to see God or figure out the things of God – BUT HE IS ALIVE, HE DOES EXIST, HE DOES HOLD THE KEYS – to you’re future, you’re salvation, to the place He has prepared for you and me.  HE is coming, that day IS going to happen.  When? I don’t know, but I pray with all my heart you’ll be there, that you’ll make the right choice.

Admit that you cannot save your self

Admit that He came and died on the Cross and took your place – that HE did it with your name on HIS lips because THAT’S HOW MUCH HE LOVED YOU

 

Admit  - Father, I don’t want this life I live anymore, I am sick and tired of being sick and tired, I truly understand my condition now and I humbly come right now to the foot of Your Cross, I NOW invite you into my heart, I fully confess and forsake my sin and now I GIVE MY ENTIRE LIFE TO YOU, I put my trust COMPLETELY in You.  I believe Your promise that I in the old am DEAD and now I’m ALIVE WITH YOU.  In Jesus’ name.  Amen!
